Buddha (Tara) Saturday
This is actually a statue of Tara, the so-called 'female buddha' but you get the idea.
I have no idea how old this staue is. The dealer told me well over 100 years, but dealer's always lie. But I have yet to see such detailed work on any contemporary work so I do think she has some history. If only the statues could speak!
