Shakuhachi Interlude

podcast
This goes out to Esmerelda, from Yitzy...

This song is called Shirabe.  It tries to capture the sound and feeling of wind blowing through a bamboo grove.

Hi yitzy,

That was great. My wife and I listened to it atleast a few times today.

Thanks for this beautiful interlude.

Thanks for the compliments. I posted this last night right after recording it...and now it sounds terrible to me. My breaths are too loud. Will work on that... But thanks for the encouragement. Still quite a bit farther to go before I will sound 'professional' I am afraid. But one day...

Thank you! I can hear it in my head as I often do on my own, just spacing out, hearing shakuhachi blowing in the wind when no one is playing and you are thousands of miles away. Too bad I can't listen to it, here in Bangkok the connection is not too good either. I am sure it is as beautiful as always.
