Off to Myanmar We Go!

We hope to post interesting stories about Myanmar when we return. Given that internet access is not widely or easily available there we will not be posting for a week. Hopefully we will have lots of fun photos, and not just images of Buddhas, to display. Happy new year!

I envy you guys.

Are you guys going to Bagan?

A fellow traveller once described Bagan like so - "Imagine an undulating landscape. Now imagine numerous beautiful temples sprinkled liberally over this landscape - that is Bagan".

BTW - the last powerful Mughal ruler Bahadur Shah Zafar was exiled to Rangoon and is buried there.
